The cost management services we offer ensure that our clients receive the maximum possible advantage from their investment. We make this possible by applying tried and tested value management and value engineering techniques, covering all costs relating to a building project, from the initial feasibility study to the negotiation of the final account.

 

Our detailed feasibility study will enable you to have a full understanding of the likely construction costs, which will help you to make informed decisions on the project budget and establish the overall level of funding required. 

If ultimately the decision is then made to proceed, we can prepare the contract documentation for the project, handle the tender process and analyse the various tender submissions received, thereby helping you to build the right project team around you.

 

Throughout the life of the project, JPC will also seek to ensure that the appropriate price is paid for the work done to date, in accordance with the project progress and the contractual agreements. At JPC, we can also provide proactive cost management, contractual oversight, and important regular cost reports to anticipate cost risks as the works progress. 

 

No one likes financial surprises and if sufficient notice of a developing cost problem can be provided, the project team can review this and if necessary, make the appropriate changes needed to meet your budget. 

 

Contrary to popular opinion, the last milestone of the final account can also be agreed quickly on completion, but only if a thorough cost management discipline has been applied throughout the whole process.
