JPC was engaged to provide Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 Programme Management of the Mechanical and Electrical scope of works covering contractor design, procurement, manufacture, installation and commissioning for the BA Premia automated cargo facility at Heathrow Terminal 4.
Project Summary
Premia is a premium freight facility that caters for products that require urgent shipping: from vital engineering parts and pharmaceuticals, to high-speed e-commerce orders. The advanced warehouse system allows for reduced cut-off times and assists in shipments being expedited through to the aircraft.
A highly complex facility, essential to the smooth operation of Terminal 4, JPC was appointed in April 2018 and the project was completed in July 2020.
