JPC was appointed Client Project Manager for Bristol Airport's new £18.7million baggage handling system.
Project Summary
As Client's Project Manager and Programme Manager for circa £18m of infrastructure and security upgrades, JPC's role grew throughout the project and encompassed three separate contracts to be delivered to programme within the approved budget.
This was a fantastic achievement by the project team who worked incredibly hard over a three year period to make the new baggage handling system a noticeable success for Bristol Airport, on what was a complex and time sensitive undertaking.
JPC managed three separate bespoke aspects, including the supply of the scanners, baggage integrator and infrastructure works. JPC's approach provided Bristol Airport with careful control throughout the project and ensured a timely delivery before the DfT Standard 3 compliance date.

“Jason and his team have helped us develop a large infrastructure project, including the procurement and establishment of multiple contracts. Throughout this project they have maintained complete control of the master programme, costs, change processes and delivery. Overall having JPC’s involvement has saved time and money, giving the airport confidence and have helped make an extremely complicated project run much smoother. We are now on target for an early completion and will be one of the first UK airports to be fully standard 3 compliant for hold baggage – a fantastic achievement!”
