Project Summary

 

The old playground had fallen into disrepair and lacked funding for a much-needed open play area. The new playground was designed for a range of children’s ages in a style to complement the historic Saumarez Park house and grounds.

 

The apparatus was carefully selected to meet safety regulations and to provide maximum educational benefit to the children, including the park’s main feature: a pirate ship from Scandinavia.

 

JPC were able to motivate and influence the support of the local construction fraternity to redevelop the playground into an exciting new facility, whilst upgrading the drainage and introducing much improved security measures for its users.

 

As a local company JPC recognise the importance of community and are always happy to support it whenever we can. JPC was proud to contribute many hours of senior staff time free of charge, to create this much enjoyed, essential community facility.
