Following the success of JPC’s involvement with Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station, JPC provided Programme Management of the Mechanical and Electrical scope of works for the new UK Atomic Energy Association Research facilities at Culham, Oxfordshire.
Project Summary
The Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE), is the UK’s national nuclear fusion laboratory and houses researchers responsible for attempts to realise the enormous potential of fusion for generating low-carbon electricity.
JPC was engaged to provide ASTA Power Project Management of works covering contractor design, procurement, manufacture, installation and commission of the M&E scope of works for the development.
JPC’s involvement with the development began in 2020 and lasted until the commissioning of the facility in 2022.
